It’s hard to believe that airlines started charging for checked bags several years ago.  It started with Delta Airlines charging $15 for the first bag and about $25 for the second.  Now they have announced that they will be raising the fees to $23 for the first bag and $32 for the second.

If you are planning on traveling anytime soon, you should really check out the airline’s web site to check all updated fees.  If you are flying Southwest Airlines, you don’t have to worry about baggage fees.  Don’t you just love those commercials?  Click here for baggage information.
