If you wash your clothes in cold water, you will drastically reduce your bill and energy usage. I know that it may seem like your clothes wouldn’t get clean by only using cold water, but trust me, they will. How else would your colors get clean? I know that I’ve thrown in a few of my white socks with my colored clothes, and they came out just fine. Cold water is also better for your clothes.

If you don’t want to use cold water for your clothes, switch to warm water. This will still cut your energy costs in half.

So let’s do our part and help preserve our land!
